Game level design and construction

My gaming experience covers a pretty high percentage of gaming history so it was a natuaral progression to have a go at level design for landmark First Person Shooter; Half Life.

A very steep learning curve ensued and culminated in my first community release wildwest. If you'd like to have a run around it and have Half Life installed, let me know and I'll send it to you. Polish your shootin' irons!

Local reporter

I thoroughly enjoyed the world building process involved in level design and construction. Keeping my god complex in check were the technical challenges involved in fixing rendering leaks and exploits that my colleagues discovered during lunchtime LAN testing. The level got pretty good reviews, but was marked down for re-using the wood textures for every building. I really must learn how to make custom textures.
